Emily the Elf is Back!

Some of you may remember Emily the "Elf Magic" Elf. Last year was the first time she came to spend the holidays with Natalie. I wrote about some of the mischief she caused last year here and here and a little bit here.

Now that the tree is up, Natalie laid out crackers and water under the Christmas Tree last night, hoping her elf, Emily, would return for another Christmas season with her. Sure enough, this is what Natalie woke up to Monday morning... (you can click on any of these pictures to make them larger)

Evidently, Emily decided she was going to take over the lower right shelf of the bookcase (the one closest to the tree, of course) and use some of Natalie's toys to make herself a little more comfortable. She brought her bed and her Santa poster with her from the North Pole though.

This is a copy of the Santa poster that Emily brought with her from the North Pole to hang on the wall beside her elf bed. Natalie had the bright idea to see if there was anything on the back of it- and there was! It was a note Santa wrote to Emily when she left on her trip to come here. Natalie thought this was so cool!

Rolled up and tied with a red ribbon, Natalie found this letter from Emily tucked beside her. Natalie was so excited when she saw it was written to her!

The elf went with Natalie to school this morning and I noticed that she was wearing a couple of the Christmas Crazy Bands (Silly Bandz) that Natalie's Aunt Karin had bought her yesterday at Chelsea Lane. Natalie was wearing matching ones too. Guess they decided it would be the cool thing to do if they coordinated their accessories!
