Pre-Christmas Fun With Cousins

My sisters helped me a ton in the days leading up to Christmas. Natalie spent the night with Karin, John, Jaxon and Alex last Sunday night. Then she spent the night with Lauren, Dan, Matt and Zach last Monday and Tuesday night. This gave me a chance to do some much-needed Christmas shopping. Tuesday afternoon, Lauren and John took Matt, Zach, Natalie, Jaxon and Alex to see the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel movie. All the kids had been wanting to see it and they loved it!

Natalie had Matt, Zach, Jaxon and Alex over for a sleepover the night before Christmas Eve (we tried to get Kaitlyn so it would be all of the grandkids but she was going to visit her Dad). We painted ornaments to give to their parents as presents and we made gingerbread houses:

We also made this video of Alex telling us what he really thinks about talking dogs and he gives us a summary of the Chipmunks Sqeakuel movie. Then Jaxon tells us about Santa and the reindeer and he answers some questions from Natalie but then they're sidetracked by Mimi & Poppi's entrance.
