The Sippola Family are pleased to announce the arrival of a set of twins!

"Jae & Aye" were born Tuesday, May 27th. The two lil boys are in perfect health and nursing well. They have doubled in size in just four days!

These babies are most unusual, in that Mom only had two kittens. Cats typically have 4-6 kittens at birth. Also, Mom was a feral kitten George and I worked with and she never would completely convert to domestic. She is a black & tan tabby. After giving birth, she has completely converted and enjoys human contact. Now what does that say about motherhood!

In my professional experience, I have never seen two solid white kittens born to tabby mother queens. It happens, but it is rare. The father appeared to be an escaped, roaming, uneutered Maine Coon.

Today, we realized that one of the boys has a dark nose. I am curious to see if they develop "break-thru pigmentation." We should expect to see the typical stripes become more pronounced as they develop. We are hopeful that they are not deaf. It is seen in white kittens frequently, however, I will be sure in a few more days.

Natalie and Katybug have stepped in to take care and babysit the boys and are doing a wonderful job in caring so gently for the babies.

We just had to share our special news! Natalie and Kaitlyn will keep ya'll updated as they progress!

Karin suggested a wonderful name for the twin babies! Thanks, Karin!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
