Natalie's 4-year old cousin, Kaitlyn, had her tonsils and adenoids taken out yesterday. She was recovering from a stomach virus she had over the weekend and had to turn around and have surgery 2 days later- poor little thing. Natalie and I bought her a "Get Well Soon" card, flowers and a new toy- a mommy elephant and a baby elephant ('because she just loves animals', Natalie says). I took it to her yesterday and she was just pitiful, all doped up on kiddie-liquid-Lortab and putting on her lip gloss every 30 seconds. Natalie has been very worried about her but hasn't been able to go see her because she's been sick. Get better soon Kaitlyn!
